Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying what’s left of summer, I know I am enjoying time with my cousins, they are traveling back to their hometown on sunday, so we are really having a great time while they are here.
That’s why I haven’t posted any recipes, but I promise that you’ll see some great new recipes.

But for now I have to tell you that I had a secret for a while now …

I am Guest Posting this friday on Chef Dennis Blog! I am so so so so excited!
I’ll be posting a family recipe for “Frijoles Rancheros” or Ranchero Beans!

    Maggie, I just finished reading your guest post on Chef Dennis’ blog and I also saw that you are NUMBER ONE on Foodbuzz’s TOP 9!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!

    Your beans look amazing and your photographs are simply fantastic!! We made up some frijoles de la olla last night, but your Frijoles Rancheros look so much better – we will be trying them tonight.

    wonderful guest post at chef D’s and I can’t wait to read more here….those chile rellenos look wonderfulllllll – I live in New Mexico and our chile harvest is finally here…sigh….one of my favorite times of year….can’t wait to stock up!!!
